Patrick Schmidt
Associate Director
Patrick Schmidt served as the president at Fox Hill Associates until the firm was acquired by VISTA Physician Search and Consulting on October 1, 2009. He now holds the position of associate director at VISTA.
With more than 30 years of physician recruitment experience, Patrick has been actively engaged in the successful placement of several hundred physicians. Over the years, he has enjoyed and appreciated long-term relationships with hospital CEOs, physicians, in-house recruiters, and other healthcare executives on a national basis. Patrick received his Bachelor of Arts degree in geography and attended graduate school at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
"Although no one ever goes to school to become a physician recruiter, it is such a great career because of all the people you can impact in a positive way," he says. "Successful recruitment will always be relationship driven and I truly appreciate all of the wonderful and dedicated professionals I have worked with at every level. Change in the healthcare environment is a given. How we work together to find constructive solutions is what makes coming to work so much fun."
