Client Sales Manager

Area of Responsibility:

To meet company's annual Client Sales objectives by building and leading a strong sales team, as directed by VP/Sales and in a manner consistent with VISTA Staffing Solutions, Inc. policies and objectives. The sales manager will direct the professional development of Territory Managers and Sales Development staff, guiding and motivating them to maximize commercial business (excluding Governmental and National Account business) sales efforts in terms of volume and quality.  He or she will help manage liability and risk to protect the company's business and clients.  As part of the Sales Management Team, he or she will provide strategic input to help the company achieve its short- and long-term strategic goals and mission. 

Essential Requirements:

  • College degree in communications, sales, marketing, or related field and/or equivalent preferred.
  • Two to five years of sales and/or management experience or equivalent. Experience requires a successful demonstration of the following:
    • Ability to set goals and review them regularly to produce immediate and consistent sales results.
    •  Ability to create and maintain excellent business relations with a variety of clients.
    • High energy level and aggressive attitude toward sales and a strong performance in achieving sales objectives.
    • Ability to supervise and organize functions in a demanding sales environment.
    • Creativity in developing programs and procedures and offering substantive input to the organization. Procedures need to meet the company objectives.
    • Ability to coordinate Client Sales and Sales Development activities from conceptualization and planning to successful execution.
    • Ability to hire, coach, train and evaluate staff.
    • Ability to administer departmental budget within guidelines.
  • Extensive working knowledge of office systems and ability to utilize computer programs to provide and interpret meaningful reports.
  • Willingness to study and keep informed of competitive industry practices, rates, etc., in order to give management and clients accurate information and aid. Take classes and participate in learning opportunities, both within and outside the company.
  •  Ability to manage stress effectively.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective communications with everyone during the performance of job responsibilities.
  • Willingness to fully support company's mission statement.
  • Willingness to sign an employment agreement.

Physical Demands:
