Client Sourcing and Development Representative

Areas of Responsibility:
This position is designed to assist Territory Managers by generating meaningful sales calls and prospecting new business. This requires extensive cold calling, internet research and e-mailing. Learn the business models for all divisions-Domestic Locums, International Locums, Long-Term and Search-and develop innovative ways to generate new leads. Develop phone, email, and online sales techniques for reaching a large number of clients informing them of potential opportunities. Learn our processes and standards, use our infrastructure, and focus on building relationships through the health care industry to maintain and create new business. Optimize your effort by using Windows® based computer applications for data entry, email, Internet searching, report generation and analysis effectively.
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent phone skills supported by computer applications for database building and contact management.
- Demonstrated success in building rapport and relationships via phone. Prefer experience in the health industry or equivalency.
- Some post high school education with emphasis in business, communication or other related field preferred. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, typing and l0-key skills required, as is the ability to become proficient with VISTA proprietary applications.
- One (1) year experience within a sales or customer service office environment or equivalent (prefer experience in the health industry).
- Ability to do research, create correspondence with good spelling and punctuation and assist sales team, clients and/or physicians as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven record of attending to details and accomplishing tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
- Ability and willingness to work under pressure to resolve unexpected and unanticipated problems. Flexibility to perform unscheduled assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent communications and work effectively with clients/physicians, colleagues, and others during the performance of assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to generate desired synergism with Territory Managers.
- Ability to learn sales and negotiation technique and strategy to lead opportunities to identify potential clients.
- Successful track record of handling a large volume of phone calls objectives within specified timetables.
- Ability to build meaningful business relationships on an on-going basis.
- Ability to project desired company image and demeanor, and willingness to fully support the company’s mission.
- Willingness to sign an employment agreement.
Physical Demands:
- Receive, process and maintain information through oral and written communication effectively.
- Substantial physical movements (motion) of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
