Corporate Trainer

Area of Responsibility:
Work with the Training and Development Manager to plan, design and implement VISTA's targeted training programs and activities. Ensure training goals are tailored to company needs in a manner consistent with company policies and objectives. Provide strategic input and direction toward successful accomplishment of company's short- and long-term strategic plan and mission. Contribute to VISTA's success by providing employees with invaluable resources and lessons that can be utilized throughout their careers. Essential Requirements:
- College degree in business, communications, sales/marketing, education or related field and/or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work well with training manager and others in the design of training material consistent with company objectives.
- Well organized and flexible in planning and implementing successful training programs with the ability to evaluate programs to produce immediate and consistent results.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects from conceptualization and planning to successful execution.
- Ability to motivate personnel to take advantage of training resources and opportunities.
- Knowledge and experience with a variety of training concepts, practices and procedures that are effective with adult learners.
- Ability to coordinate company-wide training activities.
- Extensive knowledge and utilization of Microsoft Office products to provide meaningful training, tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of current competitive training practices. Participation in learning opportunities, both inside and outside the company.
- Ability to maintain effective listening, written and oral communication during the performance of job responsibilities.
- Willingness to fully support the company's mission statement.
- Willingness to sign an employment agreement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of healthcare and/or staffing industry.
- Consultative Sales training experience.
Physical Demands:
- Substantial physical movement (motion) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers; prolonged standing, reaching, lifting.
- Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
