10-years of locum tenens with VISTA!

Today is the tenth anniversary of my first locum tenens assignment with VISTA, in Commerce City, Colorado.

Over these ten years, I’ve visited or lived in many areas of the country, practiced in large and small facilities, done family medicine, pediatrics, urgent care and occupational medicine. Twice in these ten years I became an employee of clients you introduced me to.

At one point, I was licensed in seven states; now I am down to five (but I intend to renew the other two next year!).

Several years ago I met with you regarding my future with VISTA. At that time I told you I would work with VISTA as long as I could. I still can, and will continue to enjoy working with VISTA, along with my employment.

So, at the beginning of my next ten years of association with VISTA, I thank you for maintaining our association.

Citizens from Visa Waiver Program countries must register on-line before travel to US

Effective January 12, travelers from countries participating in a US Department of Homeland Security Visa Waiver Program must register on-line through the department’s Electronic System for Travel Authorization before you embark on a trip to the US.

On-line applications may be submitted at any time before you travel, and once approved, will be in effect for up to two years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. Authorizations will also be valid for multiple entries into the U.S. DHS recommends that applications be submitted as soon as you begin planning travel to the US, and not less than 72 hours prior to travel.

Living in Emergency—Stories of Doctors Without Borders will be featured at the Miami International Film Festival on Sunday, March 8, 8:30 p.m. at the Cosford Cinema (U/M).

VISTA Staffing Solutions has had the privilege of supporting this stunning documentary throughout its development. It’s the first sanctioned, inside look at life in the field with these amazing physicians and it received a 10-minute standing ovation at its premier at the Venice International Film Festival.
