Yasu graduated from Texas Tech University and did an Internal Medicine residency at Kaiser San Francisco. He has working locum tenens for the past four years, averaging 9-10 months per year. He has worked assignments in a variety of settings, including VAs, HMOs, private practice, teaching, and international.
