VISTA is a strong supporter of International Volunteers in Urology, a Utah-based organization dedicated to teaching urology in developing countries. IVU provides medical and surgical education to physicians and nurses, and treats thousands of suffering men, women and children.
IVU's primary mission is to teach teachers. This approach ensures the long-term sustainability of its programs, and fosters the professional independence of its hosts. To date, IVU has sponsored teaching workshops in over 15 locations in the developing world including: Mongolia, Cuba, Ghana, Bolivia, Haiti, Honduras, India, Peru, Cameroon, Vietnam, and Nicaragua.
VISTA gives each of our employees paid time off to volunteer for worthy causes, and many employees have contributed their recruiting, scheduling, credentialing, and marketing talents to IVU.
