Job Details:
VISTA has Emergency Medicine locum tenens need in rural South Carolina beginning as early as April. Swing and night shift available, 12 hour days.
Details For this Opportunity:
-Dates Needed: 12 shifts per month beginning in April and ongoing
-Specialty: Emergency Medicine
-Location: South Carolina
-Length of Need: ongoing
-Number of Providers needed: 1+
-Board Certification requirement: ABEM | MUST have formal Emergency Medicine Residency Training
-Annual Volume: 25,000
-Trauma Level/Designation:
-Hospital Beds: 59
-ED Beds: 19
-Patients per hour: 1.5
-Schedule: swings/nights/will accept any availability
-Shift length & times: 12 hours, 10a-10p or 7p-7a
-Coverage: single/double. After 10 pm at night the ED Physician will be the only ED Physician on site until 7 am the next morning
-Backup & APP support: General Surgery, Ortho, and Hospitalist backup.
-Admits:
-EMR: EPIC
-Respond to Floor Codes: YES Physician will also be required to cover all inpatient codes
-Scribes: (Y/N)
-License requirement: Active SC license before presentation
-Life certification requirement:
-DEA requirement: SC Controlled Substance, and DEA
-Privileging timeline: 30 days
