Job Details:
VISTA is assisting a well-known system in West Virginia in their search for an Endocrinologist to help January 2023-Fall 2023. There are rarely locums opportunities here so take advantage of these openings and apply today!
Details:
* Schedule : Monday-Friday, clinic hours are 8am-5pm (no patients scheduled Fridays after noon, afternoon for catch up on paperwork, documentation). If they do biopsies, would likely be every other Friday morning at the hospital
* Call: Yes, would be shared 1:2. You are on practice call and covering consults at the same time. Practice call – rarely called, only over the phone
* Types of Cases: Mostly diabetes, but a good mix of hypothyroidism, thyroid goiters, thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, and hypogonadism (low testosterone). A few with pituitary issues and osteoporosis or osteopenia
