Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center is currently hiring a team orientated BC/BE Family Medicine physician to join an academic faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). of this permanent full-time position include:

-The ideal candidate will have previous academic experience with obstetric skills, experience teaching medical students and residents, though not required.
-Community health system sponsored program
-Fully accredited by ACGME for 20 years
-24 approved positions and 21 current (7-7-7) residents
-Unopposed program with single site learning environment
-Strong faculty with diverse backgrounds and skill sets
-Inpatient and outpatient experience
-Diverse patient population
-Traditional outpatient practice and inpatient care
-Inpatient responsibilities at Hospital
-Full complement of consultants
– Primary responsibilities center on the education of 21 Family Medicine residents and visiting medical students, precepting residents, didactic presentations, and 1:7 week inpatient team lead
