VISTA is working with a longtime client in IL in their search for a Pediatric General Surgeon who can work PRN blocked shifts ongoing. This client rarely has GSP locums needs so please take advantage of the opportunity. Long-term relationships are possible with the right providers.
Job Details:
-Dates Needed: Ongoing PRN/as needed as soon as credentialed
-Specialty: Pediatric General Surgery
-Certifications: Board Certified in Pediatric Surgery or Truly Board Eligible
-License: Active Illinois license or IMLC LOQ in hand is required.
-Shifts: 24-hour call coverage, clinic open 8a-5p M-F, Can see patients in clinic on occasion and will round inpatient as needed/on call. Virtual visits acceptable depending on the case/patient situation
-Trauma Level: Level I
-Patients Per Shift: 2 – 3 Surgeries per day
-Patient Population: Pediatrics and Adolescents
-EMR: Epic
-Support Staff: APP, RN
-Credentialing: 60 – 90 day avg.
-Types of Procedures/Cases: Pediatric Surgery
-COVID Vaccination Requirement: Yes
