Training: Family Medicine /Internal Medicine
Duration: Ongoing while hiring
Board requirement: Board certified or Board eligible
Schedule: Blocked
Shifts: Nocturnist
Procedures: No
Vents: No
ICU: Closed
Codes: may assist with codes but there is a code team in place that runs codes
Night Census: 4-9 new admissions at night plus cross coverage call for around 60-90 patients already on service
Backup: Yes/Pulmonology critical care
EMR: Meditech
Trauma designation: n/a
License requirement: Must be licensed before presentation
Privileges: 30-60 days
