Job Details:

We are currently hiring a Nocturnist for a large, well-established and award-winning health system in Southwest Louisiana. Benefits of this permanent full-time position include:

Practice Benefits:
*Employed
*Rotation Sunday-Monday (Nocturnist); Wednesday-Tuesday (Daytime)
*Current Hospitalists: 10 daytime and 2 Nocturnists
*Open ICU
*Responsible for Critical Care patients and admit to ICU
*Pulmonary & Critical Care coverage available- someone is always on call for consults
*Census per day split evenly among Hospitalists
*Patient population- adult and geiatric, no peds
*7 on/7 off 7am- 7pm
*Not responsible to do procedures
*No vent management and no codes
*Health system includes two non-profit acute care hospitals, a residency program through LSU and a standalone psychiatric facility
