Internal Medicine Hospitalist in New York
Urgent ongoing day/night need in Eastern New York!!

Details For this Opportunity:
-Dates Needed: need is ongoing starting in July/August 2023
-Specialty: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained hospitalist
-Reason: site is short staffed
-Certifications: ACLS
-License: active New York license required
-Shifts: both day shifts 7a-7p and night shifts 7p-7a needed
-Patients Per Day Shift: 16-20 patient encounters which includes a couple admissions as well
-EMR: Meditech
-Credentialing: 90-120 days from start to finish
-Types of Procedures/Cases: Ideally we would desire a hospitalist who could place a central line, do a paracentesis, do a thoracenteisis, chest tube, LP, and intubate BUT they said we can consider providers who prefer no procedures and the director will review and make a decision on a case by case basis
