Job Details:
VISTA is working with a full-service community hospital in west Texas, where the sun shines 302 days a year and the Tex-Mex cuisine is famous. The Hospitalist group is looking for a a few dedicated providers who can offer regular and consistent help with daytime or nighttime locums coverage while the group staffs up.
Location: Texas
Training: Family Medicine /Internal Medicine
Duration: Ongoing while hiring
Board requirement: Board certified
Schedule: 7 on 7 off/Blocked
Shifts: Days and nights
Shift Responsibility: Rounding and admits
Procedures: No
Vents: Yes
ICU: Semi
Codes: Responsible to run
Day Census: 15 to 20
Night Census: 5 to 10
Backup: Yes/Pulmonology critical care/Critical care/Respiratory therapist/Intervential radiology
EMR: Meditech
License requirement: Must be licensed before presentation
Privileges: 60 days
