VISTA has an Interventional Cardiology opportunity in eastern Kentucky, under two hours driving distance from Lexington, Kentucky.

-Dates Needed:
3/27(7am)- 4/11(12am)
6/20(12am)-7/7(12am), 7/17(7am)
-Location: Hazard, KY
-Facility: Open heart surgical center 
-Specialty: Interventional Cardiology
-Reason: Vacancy, ongoing coverage needed 
-How Many Needed: One to three full-time Providers 
-Certifications: American Board of Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology boarded and fellowship trained
-Experience: Must be fellowship trained, Provider would need more than 100 Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in the prior 24-months. Two years of experience outside of Fellowship required.
-License: Must be Kentucky licensed at time of presentation
-Shifts: 24-hour call 7a-7p (offsite hours after 6p will hold pager/take call) 
-Trauma Level: N/A
-Annual Visits: 150 Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
-Patients Per Shift: 15 in clinic per day
-Call Required: Yes weeknight and weekend call required
-Patient Population: Adult
-EMR: Meditech
-Credentialing: Temporary privileges, issued in 1-2 weeks. Clean files only. Cross-credential with sister-location
-Call Requirements: Locums required to take call 
-Types of Procedures/Cases: Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Echocardiogram, Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), standard Interventional Cardiology procedures 
-COVID Vaccination Requirement: Yes, required 
-Life certifications: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association accredited required) 
Travel: Booked through client. Flights, hotel and rental car or mileage covered
