Interventional Cardiology Locums in North Carolina
Location: North Carolina
Duration: Four months of coverage needed, asap
Board requirement: Board certified
Clinic: Monday PM, Wednesday and Friday full day. Expectation 40 pts/week
Shift Responsibility: Mixed clinic and inpatient
Subspecialty: Interventional
Procedures: Diagnostic Cath, Permanent Pacemaker, Echocardiogram, Peripheral Diagnostic, Peripheral Intervention, ICD Implantation, Transesophageal Echo, Nuclear Medicine, Holter/Event Monitor, Coronary Intervention
Census:40/week
Back-up: Board certification: ABIM/AOBIM/Board certification in Interventional Cardiology
Required: more than 100 PCI’s in the prior 24 months. Facility will need a provider that can either do PV intervention or pacemaker implants. It can be one or the other and doesn't require a single provider to do both.
Dates Needed:
1/12 (7am) – 1/15 (7am)
Call: IC 24/7, General shared with employed GC. Suggested
Rounds: Yes, lab and clinic
Back-Up: General and Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeon, Hospitalist
License: Must hold active NC license
Travel: Flights, hotel, and rental car
EMR: EPIC Systems
License requirement: Must be licensed before presentation
Privileges: 90 days
