VISTA Permanent Placement Division is assisting in the recruitment of a Family Nurse Practitioner to join a successful drug and alcohol treatment facility nestled on a 43-acre campus in northern Colorado. Full or part-time openings are available.
Details For this Opportunity:
– Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner
– Rehab facility offering residential treatment and intensive outpatient services
– Tuesday through Saturday, 8am to 4:30pm (most days done by 3pm) or Part-time hours will be 3-day work week and rotating weekend schedule.
– Provide primary care for common conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, diabetes and interactions with medications. Assess and monitor physical and emotional aspects of clients with substance use disorders. Complete history and physical on clients. Coordinate treatment efforts with the Medical Director and Mental Health Providers.
– Current Nurse Practitioner Certification: Nurse Practitioners with one year experience in Family Medicine and SUD, Colorado license, DEA, CPR/First Aid certification and suboxone prescribing experience
– Non-profit, residential drug/alcohol treatment center with programs that include detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient services
– Located in northern Colorado, 1 hour from Denver
