Full-time nursing home care needed for an elderly and frail population
Job Details:
We are currently looking for an experienced Geriatric Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens support in Pennsylvania.
VISTA's client needs full-time coverage Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with after hours and weekend call coverage. This assignment requires candidates to have a minimum one year experience working with the frail or elderly and includes rounding in nursing homes, performing assessments in collaboration with physician and evaluating participant physical complaints and providing appropriate treatment. Details For this Opportunity:
– Schedule: Full-time, ongoing
-Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm, night and weekend call
-Job Setting: Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) facility
-Board Certified ANCC/AANP, BLS
-CDS certification is required
-5-7 years of NP experience preferably in long-term care and minimum 1 year working with the frail or elderly
-Licensure: Active PA license is required
