7-8 OB/GYN Shifts per Month Needed
Job Details:
Specialty: BC OBGYN HOSPITALIST Requirements: California licensure, Board Certification with a minimum of 2-3 years active experience Beds:330 NICU Level III 24-hour In-house call shift Times: 10a-10a; 7-8 non-consecutive in-house shifts per month High Risk Obstetrical Services Manage unassigned OB patients that present to L&D and the main ER Provide coverage of Obstetric emergencies Manage unassigned GYN patients that present to the Main ER Triage of all unassigned patients and for private physicians when requested Perform Antepartum, Post-partun and GYN rounds on unassigned patients that are on the OB/GYN Hospitalist service Inpatient consults 60 Deliveries per month Clinic visits/mo. – 180 (includes NP visits, doc sees 10-12 patients/session) Triage visits/mo. – 177 Patient Population: Serving an agriculture area. Of the 5000 total hospital annual births at least 750 to 800 are handled by our hospitalists. EMR: Cerner Hospital Privileges: 60-90 days
