Physician Assistant – Orthopedic Surgery in Florida

Opportunity Highlights

  • Join a pain management multidisciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, sports medicine doctors, physical therapists, and behavioral health professionals caring for patients with musculoskeletal issues.
  • Outpatient; 5-day workweek
  • No afterhours call obligations
  • Report directly to the Medical Director
  • Duties of the position:
    • Manage patients pre- and post- surgery
    • Collaborate with partner PCPs, Surgeons, Physical Therapists, and Health Coaches to provide care
    • (Ideally) Perform peripheral joint and trigger point injections
    • Assess patients (virtually and in-person) to provide evaluation and management of musculoskeletal conditions
    • Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with evidence-based protocols; in-office procedures when appropriate

Minimum Requirements for Consideration

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Active Florida license
  • Board Certified as a Physician Assistant
  • Three (3) or more years practice experience
  • Previous practice experience in orthopedic sports medicine and/or PMR, preferred
