Physician – Radiology in Maryland

This position in the Maryland suburbs with one of VISTA’s healthcare partners is minutes from Washington, D.C.
Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, primarily hospital-based ( hybrid/remote flexibility available)
- Job Setting: Inpatient and outpatient imaging across 3 hospitals (including a comprehensive stroke center), a freestanding ER, multiple urgent cares, and outpatient imaging centers
- Practice Size: Collaborative group of 20+ board-certified radiologists
- Case Volume: ~50% specialty (neuroradiology or body imaging), remainder general radiology; procedures limited to GI/fluoro and rare LP/myelogram (neuroradiology only); no mammography
- Package: Attractive compensation, signing bonus, and comprehensive benefit offerings
- Call: ~1 weeknight every 2–4 weeks; ~1.5 weekend shifts per month; teleradiology coverage after 10 pm, 365 days/year
- Location: Highly sought Maryland suburbs, just 30 minutes from Washington, D.C., offering excellent schools, cultural amenities, and easy access to the nation’s capital
Minimum Requirements for Consideration
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiologist (ABR)
- Fellowship Training: Neuroradiology (CAQ certified) or Body Imaging
- Licensure: Maryland medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Skills & Experience: Strong general radiology skills; effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
