VISTA is seeking an experienced Cardiac Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for the Houston, TX area! Details of this fulltime, employed opportunity:

"Join an experienced team specializing in consultative care for medical issues such as heart disease, vascular disease and varicose veins.
"Evaluate patients, assist in procedures and oversee clinical staff.
"Required: 2yrs experience in cardiology as advanced practice provider.
"Clinical perioperative experience preferred
"Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for patients.
"Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient's age-specific needs.
"Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
"Implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting role.
"Facilitates the patient's transition within and between health care settings
"Facility is open Monday - Friday 8a-5p.
"Easy access to the amenities of downtown Houston with just a 30-minute commute!
"Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy wooded areas full of tall pines and other trees, wildlife, nature preserves and parks, hiking and bike trails, and lakes.
