VISTA has an opportunity for an Indiana licensed OB/GYN to provide coverage September - December.
Duration: Ongoing while hiring
Board requirement: Board certified or Board eligible within 5 yuears of residency
Schedule: Office schedule: Work Monday 9 hours, Tuesday 4 hours, Wednesday 9 hours, Thursday 9 hours, Friday 9 hours; flexible starting each day at 7:30a, 8a or 8:30a.
Shifts: Days plus call 1:4
Shift Responsibility: Mixed clinic and inpatient
Diagnostic hysteroscopy, Hysterectomy-abdominal, Hysterectomy-vaginal, Laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy.
Complicated Delivery (multiple births, breech, mid forceps, C-section, C-section hysterectomy, VBAC), D&C for Incomplete Abortion, D&C for Retained Placenta, Eclampsia, Episiotomy and Repair, FHR Interpretation (NST, CST, FSE), Pre-Eclampsia, Resurrection of Infant (NRP), Routine Delivery (vaginal delivery, low forceps, decision making C-section), Sterilization.
Census: 20 to 25
EMR: EPIC in office and Meditech in hospital
Nursery level: Level II
License requirement: Must be licensed before presentation
