Full-time Family Medicine Position in Nebraska

VISTA's Permanent Placement Division is actively recruiting a BE/BC Family Medicine physician for a well-established team. Highlights about this full-time position include
 
* Permanent full-time position
* 4-day work week, Wednesday or Thursday as the day off, 8 am-5 pm

* Newborn to geriatrics are seen
* See an average of 15-20 patients per day, but the potential to see more
* Suturing of minor lacerations I & D (Incision & Drainage) are required surgical procedures
* Critical access hospital with 2 - rural health clinics: 1 attached to the hospital and a satellite clinic 20 minutes away
* Option to work at one or both facilities
* Call Schedule: 1:3 or 1:4 b/u coverage for the hospital; they have an APP hospitalist program that staffs the hospital 24/7 providing primary coverage so NO primary call requirements
* Expected to round on in-house codes and provide backup for the ED
* 14 exam rooms
* Laboratory and radiology on-site and radiology will be available at the new location in October 2021
* 2 physicians on staff and looking to add an additional one
* Mid-level coverage: 2 full-time APPs and 1 part-time APP in the clinic, as well as 3 full-time APPs and 1 PRN APP on the hospital side
* EMR: Cerner
* Nebraska license or ability to obtain license preferred
* ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS are required before start
