  • Schedule: OR coverage 7am-3pm; if on call, 3pm-7am. Weekend call: Friday 3pm to Monday 7am. Start Date: 8/24/2026, Ongoing
  • Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; 3 OR Rooms; Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital, Elko, NV
  • Types of Cases:
    • General Anesthesia (Adult – Required; Pediatric – Preferred; Neonatal – Preferred; Trauma – Preferred)
    • Spinal Anesthesia – Required
    • Epidural Anesthesia – Required
    • Regional Anesthesia Surgery – Required
    • Obstetrical Cases – Required
    • Neurosurgical Cases – Preferred (Head – Preferred; Spine – Preferred)
    • Open Heart Anesthesia – Preferred
    • Thoracic Cases (except open heart) – Preferred
    • Complex Vascular Cases (except open heart) – Preferred
    • Complex Orthopedic Cases – Preferred
    • Pain Management Techniques – Required
    • Post-op Epidural – Required
    • Post-op Extremity Blocks – Required
    • Epidural Steroid for Cervical – Preferred
    • Transforaminal (Lumbar – Preferred; Cervical – Preferred)
    • Use of X-ray Guidance in Performance of Blocks – Required
    • Ventilation Management – Required
    • Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues – Required
    • Central Line Placement – Required
    • Arterial Line Placement – Required
    • PA Catheter Placement – Preferred
    • CRNA Supervision – Preferred
  • Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 Days+. Temporary privileges available. Hospital/surgery center privileges required.
  • EMR System: MEDHOST
  • Call Details: Beeper call; 30-minute response time required; Call Ratio: 1:3; Call Back: 10%; Patients Seen: 4-5

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Not required
  • Certifications: ACLS – Required; BLS – Required; PALS – Required
  • Licensure: Licensed in Nevada , will consider IMLC
