Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Day shift: 4/10-hour shifts; consistent Monday or Friday shift required; frequent consecutive shifts may be offered but cannot be guaranteed every week; a 30-minute lunch break will be deducted daily
  • Job Setting: Inpatient 
  • Types of Cases: General anesthesia (adult required, pediatric preferred – patients over age 8); neurosurgical/spine cases; complex orthopedic cases; complex vascular; regional; ventilation management; arterial line placement; CRNA supervision; excludes trauma, OB, head, and cardiac cases
  • Call: 2nd Call/Backup; 2-3 weekday calls per quarter, possible weekend call coverage (1 per quarter); 30-minute response time required; call is typically limited to covering cases at the end of the day with rare call-backs overnight; does not include OB or trauma
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Ongoing
  • Credentialing: 60-90 days

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified (Certified) required
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Licensure: Licensed in NC, will accept IMLC
