CRNA – Anesthesiology – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Pennsylvania

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 6:00am-2:30pm (excluding unpaid lunch break). ONLY 8-hour shifts will be considered. Regular hours required, no call.
  • Job Setting: 11 anesthesia rooms. MDs supervising CRNAs at 4 to 1 ratio. Charting systems: Epic, iPro, GE.
  • Types of Cases: General, Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho
  • Credentialing: 75 days
  • Duration: 12 weeks, ASAP start date

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse. Willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license.
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education

Responsibilities

  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
