CRNA – Anesthesiology – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in South Carolina

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5x 8-hour shifts or 4x 10-hour shifts (8-hour shifts preferred); Full-time, 6-month contract
  • Job Setting: Hospital (283 beds)
  • Types of Cases: Medical Direction, General Anesthesia cases; Bread and Butter cases; Must be comfortable with pediatric patients. No hearts, No Neuro, No OB. Patients per day: 15-30. Patient population: Pediatrics (under 18) and Adults.
  • EMR: Epic (experience may allow test-out; otherwise virtual training required prior to start – Tuesdays only)
  • Credentialing: 60-90 days with active SC license (up to 4 months for full privileges); 5-6 months without SC license. SC license preferred. Will consider licensing.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine: Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
  • Note: Rate is all-inclusive and subject to change based on provider's distance from the facility. Local providers within 60-mile radius are not accepted. Providers who have previously worked at Prisma must have been separated for at least one full calendar year before returning as a locum tenens provider.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications: NBCRNA, BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Licensure: South Carolina (SC) license required; will consider licensing
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience practicing medicine; must be out of training
  • Malpractice History: Clean malpractice history required (if a case has been dismissed, contact recruiter prior to submission)
