Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 10-16 hour shifts on weeknights/weekends; Day shift required; Weekend on-call preferred; As needed and holiday coverage preferred; Overtime not expected but offered
  • Job Setting: Hospital System with 18 anesthesia rooms; Paper charting system
  • Types of Cases: General, Neuro, Ortho
  • Credentialing: 45 days estimated privileging timeframe; Emergency privileges available (under 30 days)
  • Assignment Duration: 30 weeks
  • Number of Openings: 2
  • Target Start Date: 02-16-2026
  • Compensation: Lodging stipend $117/daily; Car rental/mileage stipend $250/week

Minimum Requirements

  • Certifications: CRNA: Certified or recertified by the AAA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education; Facility willing to accept candidates needing to obtain state license

Responsibilities

  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
