Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: October 12-16; 8 or 10 hour shifts available; No overtime expected; Very laid back small site — most days are short days, usually max 2 late days a week (late meaning 4:30-5pm)
  • Job Setting: Small hospital facility; 4 anesthesia rooms; Epic charting system; MDs supervising CRNAs at a 1:2 ratio; MDs also doing their own cases; No ICU on site, no emergencies, no OB
  • Types of Cases: General, Orthopedic
  • Credentialing: Estimated privileging timeframe 30 days; Accelerated privileges available: Emergency (under 30 days), Temporary (30-60 days)

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists; Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Licensure: Current Virginia state license as a registered professional nurse required; Candidates needing to obtain VA state license will not be accepted
