Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Weekday daytime coverage approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with shared weekday night call (5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) and shared weekend call coverage from Friday at 5:00 p.m. through Monday at 7:00 a.m.
- Job Setting: Hospital System – Trauma Level 1
- Types of Cases: Support for a three-surgeon Cardiothoracic Surgery program with first assist responsibilities, including endoscopic vein harvest for bypass procedures. Call coverage focuses on first assist support for emergency cases, with potential to expand to weekend inpatient rounding. Primary duties include first assist coverage for surgical cases, with additional responsibilities that may include inpatient rounding under the direction of the attending surgeon.
- Credentialing: 60 days
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications: BLS required. Experience with DaVinci robotic platform preferred but not required. Fellowship required. Proficiency in first assist responsibilities required.
- Licensure: GA license required, will consider IMLC
