Nurse Practitioner – Cardiovascular Surgery in North Carolina

Are you an Advanced Practitioner Vascular Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA’s healthcare partners in Charlotte, NC might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Nights:  7 on/7 off, 12 hour shifts (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
  • Job Setting: Hospital 
  • Types of Cases: Nocturnal coverage of Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery patients. Vascular surgery ICU (co-management with Critical care) and floor patients. Cardiothoracic surgery floor patients only (NO CT surgery ICU patients). NO surgical or operating room needs. NO call. Only procedures would be chest tube removal (no insertion) and chest tube management. 10-20 patient encounters per shift.
  • Credentialing: 90 days

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum, Board Certified.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Licensure: NC license and DEA available (that can have address change).
