Nurse Practitioner – Critical Care (Intensivists) – Pediatric in Oklahoma

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 7-10 minimum shifts per month; Night shift 5 pm to 6:30 am
  • Job Setting: Pediatric Cardiac ICU
  • Types of Cases: Mostly post operative patients including neonatal surgeries as well as VAD and potentially heart transplant patients
  • Credentialing: Facility Credentialing Managed by Client

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Certifications: CPR certification and Advanced Life Support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP). Obtain within 90 days of employment in this position. Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association. Some positions may require certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC and/or the AANP or PNCB. OR Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification through the NCC.
  • Licensure: Active RN and APRN license in State of Oklahoma. Must obtain the required licensure from the State of Oklahoma within 30 days after the offer of employment. Must have prescriptive authority within 6 months of hire. All applicants must have active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
