Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 10 hours of NP/PA coverage daily; 24 hours of physician coverage daily
  • Job Setting: Emergency Department, Annual ED Volume: 17,000; Acuity Level: Medium; EMR: EPIC
  • Types of Cases: Emergency Medicine
  • Credentialing: Candidates must be credentialing-ready with all required certifications and supporting documentation available at submission. Case logs covering the previous 2 years required. Proof of CME completion covering the previous 2 years required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: NP must be Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) board certified through ANCC or AANP. PA must be certified through NCCPA. Minimum of 2 years Emergency Medicine experience as an FNP or PA required.
  • Certifications: ACLS and PALS certifications required; NIHSS Certification required
  • Licensure: Current DEA registration with Mississippi Controlled Substance Prescribing Authority (CSPA) and Mississippi address required
