Nurse Practitioner – Family Medicine in Vermont

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Full-time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week); 1:11 call rotation
  • Job Setting: Outpatient primary care within a collaborative and multidisciplinary medical group environment
  • Types of Cases: Comprehensive nursing and medical care to individuals, families, and groups with focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and overall wellness

Minimum Requirements

  • Certifications: Certification as Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP (national organization recognized by VT Board of Nursing) highly preferred; Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required
  • Licensure: Current Vermont APRN License (or ability to obtain); DEA License required
  • Education: Master's Degree from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required; Two years of nursing experience prior to advanced degree highly preferred
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Clean malpractice history required;
    • Not open to visa candidates at this time;
    • Not open to candidates who commute more than 1 hour;
    • Not open to candidates who plan to work this job in conjunction with another position
