Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Flexible 24-hour scheduling with rotating shifts; 24/7 in-house NNP coverage with physician support; weekend coverage included within rotating 24-hour shift schedule
- Job Setting: Level III NICU
- Types of Cases: Advanced neonatal care for critically ill neonates; daily neonatal rounding and patient management; high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitations; neonatal procedures based on clinical competency and experience; collaboration with dedicated neonatal transport team; full pediatric and neonatal subspecialty support services; potential educational opportunities with rotating medical students through partnerships with the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine
Minimum Requirements
- Certifications: Current APRN national specialty certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP); Minimum Master's Degree in Nursing; DEA (must be obtained prior to start); Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
- Licensure: Florida APRN License or eligibility to obtain
