Nurse Practitioner – Oncology – Hematology / Oncology in California

Are you an Oncology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in California might be the perfect fit for you!
Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with lunch hour between 12-1pm. Guaranteed 8 hours per day (excluding Friday which is 4 hours). Overtime applies after 9 hours per day and requires preapproval.
- Job Setting: Outpatient clinic attached to main hospital and chemotherapy center
- Types of Cases: Hematology oncology, 12-14 patient encounters per shift. Bone marrow biopsies preferred.
- Credentialing: 90 days (average). Privileges required. 2 years of clinical activity with focus on hematology oncology must be submitted. RFA due within 48-72 hours; Hospital Privilege Application due within 5 business days.
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification required
- Certifications: BLS
- Licensure: Active CA license and CA DEA. Fellowship required.
