Nurse Practitioner – Oncology – Hematology / Oncology in California

Are you a Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practitioner searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in California might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Full-time need; Monday-Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm (8 hours/day guaranteed); 4 weeks per month; No call; 1 hour unpaid lunch; Overtime applies after 9 hours/day (preapproval required)
  • Job Setting: Outpatient Clinic; Oncology clinic attached to chemo treatment center and hospital
  • Types of Cases: Hematology/Oncology; 12-14 patient encounters per shift
  • Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days; Temporary privileges possible for September start with a clean file; Providers with settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible for temporary privileges; Two years of current inpatient case logs in the specialty required for hospital privileges; Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained; Fellowship required

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible required
  • Certifications: BLS required
  • Licensure: Active license required; Active DEA required
