Are you a Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in California might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Full-time; Clinic schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch); 8 guaranteed hours per day; minimum 2-4 weeks per month; no call; 2 providers needed (will consider candidates available 2 weeks per month or more)
  • Job Setting: Outpatient clinic; oncology clinic is attached to the chemo treatment center and the hospital
  • Types of Cases: Hematology/Oncology; 12-14 patients per shift; hospital/surgery center privileges required; inpatient case logs (2 years) required for privileges
  • Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days; fellowship required; DEA required; providers with clean files may be eligible for temporary privileges for a December start

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible (truly BE)
  • Certifications: BLS required
  • Licensure: Active California license required; IMLC not accepted; no reimbursement for licensing costs
