Nurse Practitioner – Oncology – Hematology / Oncology in Oregon

Are you an Oncology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Oregon might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm with a one hour lunch built in) or 3 days a week (Monday-Wednesday, 10 hour shifts). Guaranteed hours: 8 hours per day. OT to apply after 10 hours per day
  • Job Setting: Clinic onsite at the hospital. Newly renovated clinic alongside an exceptional team comprised of highly skilled infusion nurses, an oncology nurse navigator, medical assistants, an oncology dietitian, a social worker, and schedulers. Support from specialized Oncology Palliative Care team
  • Types of Cases: Working with hematology oncology patients, managing patients in the infusion suite. Managing inbasket, responding to patients on their lab results, working with the navigator to triage calls. Working with an oncologist and some days working independently. No rounding. Patient encounters per shift: 10
  • Credentialing: 90 days. Provider will need to complete the application as soon as possible in order to make their start date

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications: AONCP certification required, BLS required
  • Licensure: Active OR license and OR DEA
