Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 3 days/week; 8am-8pm
  • Job Setting: Outpatient Clinic
  • Types of Cases: Urgent Care – patient population is birth to death
    • Laceration Repair 
    • Incision and Drainage 
    • Foreign Body Removal
    • Minor Burn Management
    • Skin Lesion Care
    • Orthopedic Injury Stabilization
    • Splinting and Casting
    • Joint Reduction
    • Diagnostic and Point-of-Care Testing
    • X-Ray Interpretation
    • EKG Evaluation
    • Point-of-Care Lab Interpretation (rapid strep, flu, COVID-19, RSV, urinalysis, and blood glucose testing)
    • Epistaxis Management
    • Cerumen Impaction Removal
    • Airway Support
  • Credentialing: 60-90 days

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Certifications: Active BLS and DEA
  • Licensure: Active Virginia license
