Physician – Anesthesiology – Cardiac in Nebraska

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-4:00pm. No call, no nights, no weekends. Various dates available in September, with full-time coverage starting November 4th
  • Job Setting: OR at CHI Nebraska Heart Hospital
  • Types of Cases: Open heart, thoracic, vascular, structural heart, and Electrophysiology (EP) cases. Approximately 350 cardiac cases per year. Cases are hands-on with occasional CRNA supervision
  • Credentialing: 60-90 days

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified in Cardiac Anesthesiology
  • Certifications: TEE certified – must have achieved at least testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography (NBE)
  • Licensure: Nebraska license highly preferred or IMLC
  • Fellowship: Must have completed an approved ACGME or International equivalent CV anesthesia fellowship. If fellowship trained applicants are not available, must have at least five years documented CV Anesthesia experience with letters of recommendations from both anesthesiologists and CV surgeons
  • Additional: Adult and geriatric patients only – no pediatrics. Clean malpractice/background highly preferred
