Physician – Anesthesiology in Pennsylvania

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 10-hour day shifts and 24-hour call shifts (5pm to 7am). Coverage needed for specific dates in July and August 2026, reflecting every-other-day 24-hour call coverage.
  • Job Setting: Small community hospital with 4 anesthesia rooms. No OB, trauma, cardiac, or thoracic cases. Light beeper call. Supportive team environment with experienced CRNAs who have been working together for over a decade.
  • Types of Cases: General and Orthopedic cases. High volume of orthopedic cases. Most cases are ambulatory. Nearly 100% CRNA supervision (MD to CRNA ratio of 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4). Proficiency in peripheral nerve blocks is important.
  • Credentialing: 180 days (emergency accelerated privileges available under 30 days)

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification required
  • Certifications: M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine, ECFMG and FLEX, Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
  • Licensure: Currently licensed as a Physician
