Physician – Anesthesiology in Texas

This Chief of Anesthesiology position with one of VISTA’s healthcare partners in Texas might be the perfect fit!
Highlights

  • Chief of Anesthesiology

  • Team comprised of 9 Anesthesiologists and 27 CRNAs
  • Shared call with strong CRNA support (3–4 per MD)
  • Inpatient, Level III Trauma Center, 425-bed hospital
  • Schedule: D1 model – 1 week on, 1 week off; 1:10 weeknight call, 1:5 weekend call
  • Volume: ~7,000 OR cases/year; 14–17 ORs daily + Cath Lab & ASC
  • Compensation: Competitive salary, sign-on bonus, 8 weeks PTO, CME paid, full benefits
  • East Texas community with low cost of living and access to Dallas/Ft. Worth

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology (ABA)
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS and ATLS
  • Texas medical license upon start date
  • Leadership experience preferred
