Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Accepting FT/PT/PRN availability
  • Job Setting: Level 1 Pediatric Trauma with 11 operating rooms, 298 total beds
  • Types of Cases: Covering mostly cardiac for non cardiac and cath lab. Approximately 200 open hearts annually, 10+ transplants, 500 caths. Site does not perform liver/multivisceral transplants. 60/40 covering: solo, with medical direction at 2:1. 60% sick, 40% healthy. Majority type cases: General Surgery, Ortho, Genitourinary (GU), Otolaryngology (ENT), Dental. Average monthly cases: 800. Medically Directed Supervision: 50/50. Care Team Model: CRNA 2; MD 1. Required procedures: Comfortable with central lines, a-lines, pressors
  • Credentialing: Average time to credential: 90-120 days. Call interview/Zoom Meeting with the Site Medical Director (SMD)/Clinical Leadership required. Out of state candidates only. No providers who worked for this site or an affiliated site in the past 24 months. No providers that worked at this site or any Envision site that is within 75 miles of this site

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Must be Board Certified. Will not accept Board Eligible candidates
  • Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS
  • Licensure: Must have active Florida license
  • Additional Requirements: Must have trained in Peds Cardiac. Must have at least 2 years of experience. Not accepting new grads. Candidates need to be able to start between May and early July
