Physician Assistant – Anesthesiology in Florida

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Full time coverage, Monday through Friday, 7am start time, approximately 40-45 hours per week. Day shifts with flexible end times based on peel out list, or option to work 8’s and 10’s each day. Minimum 20 shifts per month required.
- Job Setting: 289-bed medical center
- Types of Cases: General Surgery, Neuro, Spine, Thoracic, Ortho, OBGYN. Majority case types are Ortho, General, and OBGYN. Average 800-900 cases per month. 60% of time supervising residents/APPs in OR or OB, 40% of time doing own cases in GI/TEE/EP/IR. Required procedures include OB and basic regionals (TAP, Supraclavicular, Adductor Canal, Popliteal Blocks).
- Credentialing: 60 days possibly faster with clean file; average 90 days. Clinical call with Chief CRNA/Site Medical Director/Clinical Leadership required.
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Licensure: Active FL License highly preferred. Will accept candidates that need to apply for FL compact license, but proof of application must be submitted once provider is approved for credentialing. Active FL DEA required. Must have 10 or less affiliations.
