Physician Assistant – Cardiothoracic Surgery in Arizona

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule:
- 4 days per month
- 7am-3pm plus call 3pm-7am
- Weeknight beeper call (14 hours)
- 24-hour call shifts
- Job Setting: Hospital
- Types of Cases:
- 10-15 CVICU/step-down patients per day
- Plus 1-2 surgeries
- Special procedures include temporary pacemaker removal
- Chest tube removal
- IABP removal
- A-line placement
- Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: Surgeon
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
- Minimum Experience: 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH
- Certifications:
- ACLS and BLS
- DEA
- Licensure: Active Arizona Physician Assistant license
