Physician Assistant – Emergency Medicine in Pennsylvania

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday-Saturday | Shifts: 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 12p-12a, 1p-11p, 7p-7a; 6-12 shifts per month. Night shift availability is required.
  • Job Setting: Emergency Department
  • Types of Cases: Wide variety of ED patients with a focus on lower acuity patients. Responsibilities include seeing patients, radiology review, and blood work review as needed. May be required to assist with Triage/Tech responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (must be through AHA or Red Cross); NIHSS (kept current annually); Stroke CME (annual); EMTALA education required. ATLS not required.
  • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) license required. Must be local enough to drive in.
