Physician Assistant – Geriatrics in North Carolina

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Full-time with participation in provider on-call rotation
  • Job Setting: PACE program (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly)
  • Types of Cases: Primary medical care for geriatric patients (55+ years old); coordinated care within interdisciplinary team framework; initial, semi-annual, annual, and as-needed participant assessments; acute and chronic disease management; preventive care including screenings, immunizations, and monitoring; discharge planning and transitions of care

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible:
  • Certifications: BLS, DEA, NCCPA, Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS)
  • Licensure: Active North Carolina PA License or willing to obtain
  • Education: Graduate of accredited PA program
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years PA experience (geriatric preferred); experience with frail/elderly populations or willingness to complete PACE training; fresh graduates not accepted
  • Additional Requirements: Clean Malpractice/License History highly preferred; most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) required; visa candidates not accepted
